We are proud to offer a variety of services for your pet in the Marietta area. These services include vaccinations, examinations, diagnostic testing, micro chipping for cats/ kittens and dogs / puppies.
Vaccines vary by animal so we factor in breed, age, and lifestyle before developing a vaccine protocol. Indoor cats may not receive the same vaccines as outdoor cats, for example. Some of the diseases we inoculate against are: Feline Herpes Virus, Feline Calicivirus, Feline Leukemia and Feline Panleukopenia, and rabies. For dogs, we offer the following immunizations: Distemper, Adenovirus-2, Parvovirus and Parainfluenza, Leptospirosis, Bordetella (sometimes referred to as Kennel Cough or Canine Cough), Canine Influenza and Lyme disease.
Canine Influenza / Dog Flu Vaccine Available
Canine influenza virus is not widespread in the dog population and many dogs have never been exposed to the virus till recently. There have been recent outbreaks in many cities, and many boarding places now require flu vaccinations. The first two vaccination set is done three weeks apart and is followed once yearly.
